- Synopsis
- This is the film that confirmed Shinoda's status as one of the founders of the Japanese New Wave. Written by the controversial Shûji Terayama (Rally in the Streets), it was also the first of many Shinoda films to feature music by composer Toru Takemitsu, launching both artists into the popular and critical spotlight. In this tale of rebellion within a rebellion, Shinichirô Mikami stars as a youth bored with the drudgery of the student movement and merely daydreaming of terrorism.
