Synopsis: In every corner of the Jenin Freedom Theatre (Palestine refugee camp) you can breathe the idea of "Cultural Resistance".

In the main hall of the Freedom Theatre, a group of brave actors rehearse a play, risking their lives to fulfill a dream they are unwilling to abandon: to premiere this play on the stage of the New York University theater.

It has been six years since the theater's founder, Juliano Mer Khamis, was brutally murdered right outside the theater's doors. Many doubts persist about his death, but the truth is that his violent departure only fanned the flame that ignited the Freedom Theater: theater and art will be the heart of peaceful cultural resistance.
