Synopsis: 10 episodes. Documentary that tries to approach the forefront of scientific research against cancer. Science has been searching for a solution to cancer for more than a century. Along the way, the quality of life and life expectancy of people suffering from cancer has increased incredibly. However, official figures tell us that almost one out of every two people will suffer from this disease at some point in their lives. What is happening? The series takes as its starting point the second edition of the Vall d'Hebron Cancer Talks cycle, organized by the Vall d'Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO), which brings together more than thirty eminent oncologists in ten meetings with patients to discover the latest scientific advances, while we debate with them about the social, medical and political complexity of this disease: new patents, advanced therapies, Artificial Intelligence or the latest discoveries in breast cancer or colorectal cancer.
