- The labyrinths have many entrance doors but just a single exit. The documentary El laberinto de Octavio Paz, by the Cervantes Institute, explores how one labyrinth who was penetrated through its doors by the surrealism and the avant-gardes worked. Mexico’s prehispanic past, Indian culture and Eastern sacred texts, the contemporary art of hispanic literature and poetry, the moral essays and politics that led to a gateway: the work of the poet and essayist Octavio Paz.
