- Synopsis
- Three women in Bergamo during the 13th and 14th centuries, are going through moments of determining decisions: Adelita is a rich widow who gives everything she has to poor girls so they can get married; Anexia is a landowner who gives everything to two men; and the Abbess Grace promotes art inside the convent. In her directorial debut, Daniela Persico blurs the limits between documentary and fiction, through places and stories that challenge the back and forth movement between cultural historical memory and the subjective recollections of personal experiences.
