- Synopsis
- Don Diego de Acevedo, a heroic guard of the Corps from Madrid, whose adventures elapse between the end of the reign of Charles IV and the Spanish War of Independence 1808. The female lead was Maria Josefa de la Vega, Diego's beloved and there also appeared historical characters as Simon Bolivar, Charles IV, Maria Luisa of Parma, the Duchess of Alba, Fernando VII and Francisco de Goya.
