Youth is the story of Fred Ballinger (Michael Caine), a great orchestra conductor on holiday in a hotel in the Alps with his daughter Lena and friend, Mick, a director who is finding his latest film difficult to wrap up. Fred gave up on his music career years ago, but someone is determined for him to conduct again. No llegas a profundizar en la historia, te quedas con muchas dudas, su final no es completo, cortes repentinos e inesperados, escenas difíciles de descifrar, incluso deseas que llegue pronto el final porque llega a ser aburrida e incomprensible, desde mi punto de vista no recomendable para todo tipo de espectadores.
