- Synopsis
- Antonio Saura is considered one of the most important Spanish painters of the post-Picasso generation. From his studio in Paris's thirteenth arrondissement, Saura explains how he came to be a painter. And we see him at work: the camera appears to spy on the artist caught up in the act of painting and drawing. Other sequences take us to Saura's native village of Huesca, where he finished painting a monumental ceiling for the town hall.
