SlashFilm
"In parts, sharp yet sentimental, funny yet sincere. It's an age-appropriate holiday miniseries that has something for every member of the family"
United States
Los Angeles Times
"Though it’s thin in characterization and obvious in the emotional beats it’s a respectable, fairly amusing holiday entertainment for anyone who would like to start their Christmas now."
United States
The Hollywood Reporter
"If The Santa Clause‘s central worry is that there’s just not enough holiday magic in the world anymore, this halfhearted series seems unlikely to be the gift that’s going to bring it back"
United States
The Wrap
"A delightful six-episode series that catches up with the Calvin-Claus family 28 years after Scott (Tim Allen) first put on the suit and reluctantly became the big guy"
United States
CNN
"'The Santa Clauses' doesn’t bother trying to reinvent the sleigh, but it does splash a new coat of paint on it, in mostly agreeable and mildly clever ways
United States
Variety
"A six-episode series that really should’ve just been a movie (...) If 'The Santa Clauses' were 'The Santa Clause 4: The Santa Clauses,' its tendency to indulge the silly and saccharine could be forgiven"
Canada
JoBlo
"[It] is far funnier than the first three films combined and benefits from Tim Allen feeling energized in the role more than he has in years. This is a worthwhile watch"
United States
ReelViews
"'The Santa Clause' isn't an unmitigated disaster, but it's also a whole lot less impressive than it could be." (...) Rating: ★★ (out of 4)"
United States
Decider
"[We] are fine sticking to the first film —or just rewatching 'Elf'"
United States
Common Sense Media
The jokes in this movie are just as funny for adults as for kids. The really nice thing about THE SANTA CLAUSE is that it takes its far-out premise all the way to a logical conclusion"
