"Despite predictability on who would serve as an antagonist, the bad performance and animation by certain minor characters (...) Infinite Darkness is a step in the right direction"  POS

"Freeing itself from those expectations has resulted in a TV show that, while far from a masterpiece, exceeds most expectations of a video game adaptation."  NEU

"While it's not a particularly vital chapter in the wider Resident Evil story, the series doesn't necessarily strive to be one either. Overall, the anime is a fun side story"  POS

"The animation quality varies on a shot-by-shot basis. The English voice acting is blunt, episodes begin and end arbitrarily, and the script is resolutely dull"  NEG

"It tries to cram too much into a relatively brief runtime. Watching 'Infinite Darkness' is a bit like watching a video game cutscene that tries to rapidly run through plot points so players can get back to the action"  NEU

"It’s quick, impressively animated, and full of high-octane action and violence. It also leans too heavily on its conspiracy plot, forgetting the main draw of the franchise- the monsters (...) Rating: ★★½ (out of 5)"  POS

"[It] is worth watching for the CGI alone (...) Fans of the franchise will get a kick out of seeing familiar characters and references, and the story is self-contained enough that newcomers won’t be lost."  POS
