The Deep Blue Sea

Romance. Drama Terence Davies has adapted the play of the same name by Terence Rattigan, one of the great British dramatists of the 20th century. Its heroine, Hester Collyer, is a woman with a priviliged life as the wife of a High Court judge, Sir William Collyer, who astonishes everyone by leaving her husband to go and live with a young ex-RAF pilot who she has fallen passionately in love with.
