- Many people died in Ziglo, a village in western Ivory Coast, during the 2011 civil war. Faced with the delay of state justice, Josiane, known as Maman Jo, an indigenous woman who had lost several members of her family, decided to take the reins of the village's destiny by creating a space for women to raise their voices.
