Está claro que "Cosas de casa" nunca llegó al nivel de "El príncipe de Bel Air", pero la serie llegaba a tener momentos bien hilarantes gracias al trabajo de Reginald "Die Hard" VelJohnson y del desaparecido en combate Jaleel White, chaval verdaderamente cómico que llegó a comerse la serie él solo.
Al final, a eso se reducía el show: a las catástrofes que Urkel provocaba.
