Resulta frustrante ver cómo una colegiala vence a un sinfín de monstruos y brujos sin despeinarse, aunque el bueno de Giles intente tapar la mediocridad del personaje dando a la historia un toque de auténtica historia de terror, a veces épica. Los otros personajes son claroscuros en la trama con su momento de gloria particular.
