Esta película ha alcanzado el grado de gran mito maravilloso en la historia de la cinematografía. Y su cementerio de Sad Hill, es el «no va más» de la misma: un cementerio como ningún otro de almas sin cuerpos, singular, inigualable y trascendente entre los encantadores montes de la provincia de Burgos en España; el más cautivador, solar y precioso cementerio del mundo o al menos del planeta cine; el único cementerio que en su conjunto o por sí ha nacido, muerto y resucitado.
