Disney tiene películas impactantes y películas correctas. Esta no deja de ser entretenida, pero se queda en correcta simplemente. La película comienza en el tradicional formato 1.85:1 comúnmente utilizado en la mayoría de las películas en la actualidad y después del primer tercio de la película, cuando Kenai descubre que ha sido transformado en oso, la pantalla se abre en una pantalla panorámica Cinemascope o formato 2.35:1. Es la primera vez que se hace en una película de animación.
