El Castillo en el Cielo es una fantasía steampunk en la que también aparecen el pacifismo y la ecología, enormes robots que preceden al de El Gigante de Hierro, y máquinas voladoras increíbles de las que tanto le gustan a Miyazaki. Está llena de hallazgos visuales y hay una banda de piratas aéreos inolvidable, especialmente su capitana, que no es lo que parece. Muy, muy recomendable.
