Lo único a destacar es la tremenda actuación de Christian Bale. The fighter deja muchísimo que desear... Melissa Leo hace un gran papel también pero Mark Wahlberg se queda a años luz de la actuación del Sr. Bale. The Fighter se queda como un dramón de superación muy lejos de conseguir acercarse a otra película reciente de boxeo como es Million Dollar Baby o El luchador de Darren Aronofsky.
