In Spider-Man 2, Tobey Maguire returns as the mild-mannered Peter Parker, who is juggling the delicate balance of his dual life as a college student and a superhuman crime fighter. The entertaining adventure escalates and Spider-Man's life becomes even more complicated when he confronts a new nemesis, the brilliant Otto Octavius, (Alfred Molina) who has been reincarnated as the maniacal and multi-tentacled "Doc Ock."

Spiderman 2 es la mejor película de Spiderman en solitario hasta ahora. De eso no cabe duda alguna. Su historia es correcta y el duelo interno de su personaje hoy día tal vez no se haría de la misma manera con Marvel Studios. Sin olvidar a un Alfred Molina memorable, el mejor villano de la trilogía de Raimi. Nuevamente, el tiempo la ha hecho quedar bastante por detrás de las mejores propuestas del género.
