Horror. Fantasy
Alice, having survived the previous installment of the Nightmare series, finds the deadly dreams of Freddy Krueger starting once again. This time, the taunting murderer is striking through the sleeping mind of Alice's unborn child. His intention is to be "born again" into the real world. The only one who can stop Freddy is his dead mother, but can Alice free her spirit in time to save her own son?

Los efectos especiales siguen siendo muy buenos para la época, aunque alguno más cutre se escapa. La historia se vuelve más truculenta, pero también menos atractiva y más dispersa. Y sin una buena historia, el castillo de naipes de la franquicia se desmorona, quedando sólo para fans incondicionales. Freddy empieza a aburrir.
No es tan mala como la segunda, pero para nada es una buena película.
