Romance. Comedy
Hildy Johnson has divorced Walter Burns and visits his office to tell him that she is engaged to another man and that they are going to get married the day after. Walter Burns can't let that happen and frames the other man, Bruce Baldwin, for a lot of stuff getting him into trouble all the time, while he tries to steer Hildy back into her old job as his employee (editor of his newspaper).

Una de las historias más versionadas del cine. Que me vengan a la memoria, además de este título, con el mismo origen están Primera plana (1977) e Interferencias (1988).
A priori, con el reparto de esta cinta debería ser una obra maestra; el director es uno de los maestros del cine con grandes títulos (Bola de fuego, Río Lobo, Tener o no tener o La fiera de mi niña por citar cuatro conocidos). Sin embargo, el ritmo del relato la llega a hacer desconcertante. Es innegable con los protagonistas llevan el peso de la historia de forma meritoria.
Entretenida sin mayores pretensiones; a título personal: decepcionado.
