Comedy. Drama
'The Kid' is the story of a child abandoned in a limousine by his unwed mother (Edna Purviance). When The Little Tramp finds him, he tries unsuccessfully to find a home for the boy. Obliged to keep him, The Little Tramp teaches the youngster about life on the streets and just as they have bonded and become a family, everything gets complicated.

Qué decir de Chaplin? Siempre destaca en sus películas un lado humano enternecedor, siempre matizados con sus toques de humor.
Breve historia del amor entre un "padre" y un "hijo", que viven distintos problemas, ya no sólo por la humildad y la pobreza que les rodea.
Gran película del cine mudo, aunque para mí no es mi favorita de Chaplin. Merece la pena.
