Película sorprendente por su desarrollo, con actuaciones aceptables, sobre todo Pitt, unos efectos muy buenos, una fotografía esmerada, y una dirección notable, que visiblemente es romántica y emocional.
Aunque tiene sus defectos, estos son subyugados bajo la transcendencia de la originalidad y la inquietud del pasar de los años hacia la primera infancia.
