Youth is the story of Fred Ballinger (Michael Caine), a great orchestra conductor on holiday in a hotel in the Alps with his daughter Lena and friend, Mick, a director who is finding his latest film difficult to wrap up. Fred gave up on his music career years ago, but someone is determined for him to conduct again. Sucesión de reflexiones sobre la vida de dos amigos en su senectud. En un entorno idílico, rodeado de personajes extravagantes y con el subconsciente presente en todo momento. Conatos de Fellini con una propuesta estética a lo Wes Anderson. Película emotiva y visualmente bonita.
