Cinta clasica con trama policial en la que Gere y García trabajan muy correctamente. Siendo la corrupción policial el centro nos encontramos con una película eficaz, dinámica y por momentos interesante. Lo más destacable es la vuelta a la estética americana policial de los ochenta que se repite con buena armonía.
