A man wanders out of the desert not knowing who he is. His brother finds him, and helps to pull his memory back of the life he led before he walked out on his wife and son four years before. As his memory returns, he makes contact with various people from his past. Wim Wenders's 'Paris, Texas' tells the haunting story of an amnesiac (Harry Dean Stanton) and his struggle to rebuild his shattered life.

La primera que veo de Wim Wenders, y sin dudas no será la última, porque me resultó excelente. Tiene una mirada muy particular y, además de estar cuidada estéticamente, logra unos climas de antología (la escena del peep-show con Natassja Kinski y Harry Dean Stanton es memorable). El guión tiene la mezcla justa de inteligencia y emotividad. Para recomendar.
