Una dirección -tanto estética como técnica- y una construcción argumental buena, pero especialmente destaca la interpretación de sus tres protagonistas (Javier Bardem, Josh Brolin y Tommy Lee Jones). Cada uno representa un carismático rol y resulta imposible no admirarlos pese a sus dudosos métodos. No es País para Viejos es nervio y suspense, pero en ocasiones se extraña ritmo y velocidad.
