Ante todo original y con inesperadas y muy agradables sorpresas, Michael Dougherty hace un excelente debut con una película que con el tiempo alcanzará el reconocimiento que le ha ido negando la productora al lanzarla directamente a DVD (siendo indiscutible material para disfrutar en una sala).
El guión es brillante, sobran los halagos para las historias que se entrelazan hábilmente para contar un solo y sorprendente relato.
De terror la verdad no mucho, es bastante difícil asustar hoy en día, pero aprueba con creces alejándose de los estereotipos mil veces vistos que últimamente caracterizan al género.
