Fuke has been rather reluctant to visit his aging Uncle Idriz and Aunt Sabira because they are still stunned and devastated by the loss of their son in the Bosnian conflict. Uncle Idriz harbors resentment towards those who have moved on—primarily his former daughter-in-law. Over the course of the day, as the hours pass, Fuke tries to find a way to help his beloved relatives become reconciled with their loss and move on with their lives.
