- Synopsis
- Chilean TV star Pablo Schwarz stars as Marcos Ruiz, a bookish bureaucrat who longs for meaning and a romantic getaway with his plump girlfriend Hilda (Mariana Loyola). When the two stumble across the life’s work of a previously unknown Chilean artist, Marcos vows to reclaim the artist for Chile and the world. First, however, he must deal with the cantankerous caretaker Don Felipe (Julio Jung) and the conniving snobs at the local historical society. Great performances and oddball characters abound in this quirky comedy about art, love and bureaucracy based on a novel by José Donoso. For Mature Audiences.
