- Synopsis
- Set in the not-too-distant future, Demon Seed is about a self-thinking computer Proteus (voiced by Robert Vaughn) that takes drastic measures when he suspects that his creators want to shut him down. His only way to do that is to conceive a child, and that's where Julie Christie's character comes in.

- Critics' reviews
-
-
"Gadget-happy American moviemaking at its most ponderously silly."
-
"A few of his labyrinthine concerns and much advanced animation work (plus optical assistance from once-celebrated avant-gardist Jordan Belson) spice the thin conceit, but it's a doomed project."
