Synopsis

Harry Caul, a detective of recognized prestige as a specialist in surveillance and security systems, is hired by a tycoon to investigate a man and a woman. The mission, for an expert of his stature, is at first glance inexplicable, since the couple is of no interest. However, when Harry thinks he has finished his work, he realizes that something strange is hidden behind the banality of the case, as his client refuses to identify himself, always using intermediaries.
