Synopsis
Mukuka Nkoloso a Zambian patriot in the 1960s had a great ambition. His dream was to take 12 Afronauts, short for African Astronauts to Mars. He founded his own Space Academy in 1964 where he intended to fire off his own made rocket. Nkoloso hoped to beat the United States and Russia space programs at the height of the space race. He sought funding from developed countries and international agencies but he never succeeded. He nonetheless continued to train his students even without funding. Though Nkoloso never managed to fulfill his wildest dream he has become a legend that many in the field of aeronautical in his country and beyond reckon with.
