Synopsis

Inspired by real events, it focuses on the religious leader Ann Lee, founder of the Shaker Movement in the late 1770s, came to build one of the largest utopian societies in American history. Lee's followers considered her to be the female Jesus Christ, and her followers prayed to her with singing and dancing.
