Synopsis

Zeynep is a single mother who lives with her young daughter and aging mother in a fringe neighborhood of Estambul. Her days pass as she searches for a job in vain. She makes money on the side by doing menial jobs with the help of a couple of kind friends, but every day the situation seems to get worse. Her luck might just turn when she finds out about a factory job near Edirne, five hours away from the city. The factory is giving food and board, and a decent weekly wage. Zeynep is not sure that she should leave behind her mother and daughter, but it seems like she has no choice.
