- Synopsis
- TV Miniseries. 5 episodes. Biopic based on the real life of Jan Stenbeck, telecommunications pioneer and one of Sweden's most controversial personalities. He founded the Metro newspapers and the first Swedish commercial television. At 35, Jan Stenbeck (Jakob Oftebro) seems to have it all: a successful career, a glamorous life in New York and an affair with socialite Merrill McCloud (Zoe Boyle). Until a family tragedy in Sweden forces him to assume leadership of Kinnevik, his family's industrial empire. His tireless drive builds an $800 million empire. However, Jan's vision sparks bitter rivalry with his brothers, as their clash between tradition and innovation deepens old family wounds.
