Synopsis

A lone prospector comes to a cabin in the woods where he seeks food and lodging. There he meets a woman and her small sister who put him up. Soon her father and brother, miners, arrive and are uneasy with the stranger. That night, they plan to rob him, but the woman alerts him and helps him fend off his attackers. This gesture moves the prospector to marry the woman.
