Synopsis

A romantic adventure tale about a young guy working on a whale-hunting vessel and his love for a childhood sweetheart. Another Kayo-eiga (Pop Song Film) designed to capitalize on the popularity of a hit tune, this time Hachiro Kasuga's Umi No Junjo (Innocent Love At Sea). Singer Kasuga also stars in the film.
