Synopsis: The Bait takes a totally new approach to questions raised in connection with environmental protection unveiled during the Helicon LIFE+ project. The film tells a story of the mysterious poisoning and subsequent rescuing of an imperial eagle with neither dialogue nor narration, instead utilizing powerful landscapes, music and animation to bring us closer to these magnificent protected birds. The film covers themes that are accessible for both professionals and laymen alike giving the viewer a rare opportunity to observe the behaviour of the most spectacular of species and at the same time informing us of the most recent scientific discoveries to protect and benefit our environment.
