Synopsis

In this race against the clock, the life of the President of France (Personnaz) is turned upside down when an eight-year-old girl goes missing. Although the public is shocked by the little girl's disappearance, the tragedy affects the president personally as she is his illegitimate daughter, born of an affair unknown to his wife and confidante Nora (Kruger). When the kidnapping becomes a matter of state, the entire Elysée apparatus intervenes to find the child, but who can the president trust behind the closed doors of the Palace? He has risen to the pinnacle of power thanks to his honesty and integrity, but must he betray the very values to which he owes his election? Torn between his private life and his public responsibilities, the president is now mired in a whirlwind of false friends, unrequited love, power struggles, political games and espionage.
