Synopsis: Sarah Maldoror uses Carnival as her approach to the history of colonization and black culture. Carnival is understood here as a festivity during which the limits are transgressed, the world is circumnavigated, and the dominator becomes the dominated, in addition to being an explosion of music and sensations, a great collective performance in which the characteristics of négritude-identity comes forth.
