Synopsis

Illegally adopted as a child after her mother's death, 18-year old Mariana is disowned by her adopted mother. Losing herself in an unhappy relationship with Carlos, Mariana escapes only after killing him in a fight. Fleeing arrest, Mariana decides to embark on a quest to find her biological father in the north of Mexico.
