Synopsis

In the year 1616, in an old house in Madrid, Miguel de Cervantes languishes ill in the care of his niece Constanza. A young graduate, an admirer of his work, undertakes the task of writing a memorial for the King, in which the facts and merits of Cervantes' life are narrated, in order to get some honor to encourage the writer's last days.
