Synopsis

Miniseries that chronicles the life of legendary tribal chief Shaka Zulu. In 1823, Elizabeth Farewell travels to Africa in search of her missing father, Royal Navy Lieutenant Francis Farewell, who had gone to Zululand two years earlier to negotiate an alliance on behalf of England with Shaka, King of the Zulu. The story follows Shaka Zulu's capture by slave traders and his escape as the threat of war between the whites and the Zulu looms.
