En mi opinion es una película fracasada debido, basicamente, a que la pacata censura de la época malogró la versión cinematográfica de una historia que en el original teatral era mucho más atrevida y explícita (parecido a lo que le pasó a Kubrick con Lolita). Lo mejor: Un estupendo Ewell y Monroe en el papel arquetípico de su vida.
