Drama. Romance. Thriller
The story begins at a carnival in Ireland with British soldier Jody (Forest Whitaker) kidnapped by IRA terrorists Jude (Miranda Richardson) and Fergus (Stephen Rea). Fergus is assigned to guard Jody, and they become friends. Time later, Fergus escapes to London to track down Jody's girlfriend, Dil (Jaye Davidson), to fulfill a promise to Jody.

Buena película sobre un ex-terrorista del IRA, que se enamora de la novia de unas de sus víctimas, quien guarda un gran secreto.Proceso de rehumanización de un asesino a través del amor con esta chica, a la que ama más por el mal que le hizo a su marido que por otra cosa. Buen guión y buenas interpretaciones, para ver un film dramático.
