Bajo su apariencia cutre (el bajo presupuesto y los años no perdonan) emerge un film repleto de virtudes. Unos carismáticos personajes muy bien definidos sin la necesidad de hojas y hojas de guión, atmósfera claustrofóbica (gran música del señor Carpenter) y dosis de humor bien repartidas hacen de esta película una joya (desconocida para la mayoría) del género.
