Drama. Romance A writer forms an unexpected bond with the residents of Guernsey Island in the aftermath of World War II when she decides to write a book about their experiences during the war. In 1946 free-spirited writer Juliet Ashton forms a life-changing bond with the delightful and eccentric Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, when she decides to write about the book club they formed during the occupation of Guernsey in WWII.

La historia nos recuerda la literatura de Jane Austen, o las hermanas Brontë. Mantiene sus constantes, y esas historias melifluas que tanto gustaban y que todavía hoy agradan a una buena parte de espectador@s.

Es una historia sin sorpresas donde los principios, el romance y las buenas intenciones, aderezan esa sociedad pulcra e incluso relamida.

Muy bonita.
