Pintura de la realidad grotesca de la sociedad italiana de la década de los 60.- El nuevo mundo que abre en la ciudad para quien migra desde un pueblo. Por un lado el trabajo del obrero en el colectivo del sindicato, las nuevas posturas de libertad en las relaciones sentimentales, confrontando con los tabues de la cultura pueblerina.- Todos estos contrastes llevados a la pantalla con una muy buena expresión visual planteando una sátira con extraordinaria narrativa por parte de Lina Wertmuller.-
