Impecable dirección, actuación, efectos... Aunque catalogada como ciencia-ficción parece más una perfecta fusión con el género fantástico. La máxima tensión se provoca casi al comienzo y se mantiene durante toda la película. Música e imagen conforman una aleación perfecta. Como los cuadros de Miró, difícilmente se pueden crear variantes. Obra maestra del género fantástico.
